A stunning traditional Cumbrian stone built property sitting on an elevated position overlooking lake Ullswater.  Origin Direct has installed approximately 30m²
of a solid planked, hardwood floor of a character grade, finished with a matt lacquer into a recently refurbished Kitchen.  The project started with the
installation of a plywood sub base over the existing subfloor to provide us with a smooth surface in which to bond the hardwood flooring to using the
specialist MS Polymer wood floor adhesive from Rewmar.  The hardwood flooring from GRÜNDORF UK was installed throughout the entire room to which a
bespoke, hand built kitchen from Cumbria Kitchen & Bedroom Furniture was then installed over providing a clean and subtle finish.  To compliment the
hardwood flooring, we have had bespoke solid oak skirting boards machined with an identical profile matching the existing skirting boards throughout the property.  These incredible, 280mm high skirting boards frame and finish what can be best described now as a breath taking room.
