In October, 2011 - Origin Direct carried out an installation using an American Black Walnut Flooring installed in a Herringbone Pattern.

The property is a stunning architecturally designed home in West Cumbria.  The property is based on an upside down living design being in that the Lounge is on the first floor to take full advantage of the views over the Countryside.  Initally, the client was looking for a Junkers, Black Oak Planked Flooring which would have been stunning but the Herringbone in on another level.

We introdcued them to our Austrian manufacturer being Weitzer Parkett who have a vast range of patterned timber floors and the American Black Walnut was selected for its striking appearance.
