Set in
the heart of the small village of Gilcrux, this
stunning chapel built in 1875 has undergone some
major internal changes. A huge, feature Cumbrian Stone
wall has been erected to frame an open log fire.
We have installed approximately 90m²
of Engineered wood flooring of a Multiply
construction throughout the Hallway, TV Room,
Bathroom and the Grand Hall. With the property
having an imposing and overpowering feel, a subtle
natural oak floor would look lost. The client
choose a floor that worked with the character of the
building so we have installed a wide plank oak board
with a dark antique tint. The planks have been
finished with a strong coat of matt lacquer to keep
the oldey worldly feel.
