A courtyard of derelict barns near the village of
Brampton needed converting in a sympathetic manner.
The site itself had the potential to provide some of
the most prestigious and sought after luxury homes
in the Carlisle district and if the first two
conversions set the standard, this will be one of
the most stunning developments that we have had the
privilege to work upon.
The
builder responsible for the development is S & C
Asbridge Ltd of Raughton Head near Dalston and
their attention to detail provided a level of finish
that few could achieve. This very high
standard is carried throughout all of their
projects.
The
stature of these Barns deserved nothing but the
highest level of finish and
Origin Direct
have supplied and installed over 160mē of 188mm
wide, Solid European Oak flooring for the first Barn
and supplied approximately 175mē of varied width
Engineered European Oak flooring of a Multiply
construction for the second conversion.
The
properties have exposed sandstone walls and solid
oak beams intertwined with a modern living twist.
