Bluebell Cottage is a part thatched, part slate
roofed cottage near Dalston. The oldest part
of the cottage is approximately 300 years old and
consists of an
exposed crook beam structure and a thatched roof.
The property was in need of major renovation which
has been carried out by
Hogg & Robinson Limited of
behalf of the owner. At this moment in time,
the project is underway with
Origin Direct
carrying
out subfloor works prior to the installation of
45mē of 120mm wide, Solid European Oak from ORIGIN
HARDWOODS. The bottom room contained a very
high level of moisture so we have installed an
epoxy, liquid damp proof membrane to ensure that the
hardwood flooring is fully protected from residual
moisture.
